Jesus “Store up for yourselves treasure in Heaven”. (Matt. 6:20)
Dearly Beloved in Christ.
Greetings to you in the Name of the Father, son and the Holy spirit. It is once again Harvest time, giving thanks to the Lord with Gratitude and Faith.
As we get ready to celebrate the harvest festival the Lord once again reminds us to “Come before His presence with thanks giving” (Psa: 95:2). And the psalmist goes on to say that “Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name” (Psa: 140:13) Paul’s letter to 1 thes 5:8 urges us by saying “In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God”.
Thanks’s giving is nothing by walking back to the Lord with gratitude and Praise especially to make known his deeds among the people. Thanks giving are witnessing the mercy, blessings, victory and triumph, not forgetting all his benefits, for being forgiven all your iniquity, for healing your deceases, especially for his steadfast love and salvation.
Over the years, the congregation has been so generous in giving to the offerings of his temple to further the Kingdom of god. As you all know there is a dire need to complete the Construction of the Church Restoration for spiritual and social needs of the congregation. Therefore urge u all to pray for the project and contribute generously for early completion of the Church Building.
There is no real necessity to exhort you to contribute positively this Harvest, because you have always came forward willingly to make each successive Harvest better. But it is always good to remember the Good things God has done for us during the year gone by and remember to Thank Him -’Bless the Lord ’0′ my soul and forget not all his benefits’ ( Ps. 103:2). Give to the Lord and receive manifold.
Indeed the Christian life as a whole without ones best thanksgiving to God is unthinkable, above all we must thank God. For the remarkable gift of his son Jesus Christ and the Provision of his salvation to us. II Co1. 9: 15.
May God continue to bless each family, each member and our church as whole during the coming Years.
Yours in His Service
